Hi, I'm Katie! I'm 19 years old. I play mandolin, guitar and bass. Some other things I do for the band are writing songs, recording, graphics, and web design. Some of my other hobbies are instrument building and repair, and making leather instrument straps. As you can tell, I love to make things! I also enjoy knitting, clogging, ping-pong, learning Chinese and taking my sisters to ride horses to be outside and enjoy the fresh air! I am finished with High School and have been to Lutherie school (instrument building and repair). If you think I have too many hobbies...you're right!!

It's really important to all of us to get to know the people who come to our shows. We have met so many wonderful folks! It's our hope and prayer as a band to encourage people and share God's love!
Kate is a Certified Fretted Instrument Repair Technician.
She attended Galloup School of Lutherie in the Fall of 2005.

I really enjoyed my class at Galloup Guitars in Michigan! It was a lot of work but so much fun because I loved what I was doing.
I made one electric guitar and one acoustic guitar, and learned repair along the way. The guitars are amazing! As you know I am more into the acoustic end of things and I really like how it turned out. I will be playing this guitar at shows!
